From common people to poets, from psychologists to critics none have ever succeeded in explaining what unconditional love is. Unconditional love is the only kind of love that is true, says some, while others call it impossible. Some says that, unconditional love does not seek pleasure, some says that, it does not seek gratification, while many argues that unconditional love is where one showers their partner with pleasure and gratification. Unconditional love, is it just a concept about love or is it really unconditional? Is it just a term used to refer two couples who are in love with each other or it’s beyond comparison? Ancient Greeks, called unconditional love as ‘Agape’ ( ie) It is love by “choice” even if you are not pleased ). Loving someone as they are, loving someone for who they are, loving someone for their imperfections is what the ancient Greek termed as unconditional love because they considered this as the highest form of love, they compared this to the love of God for man.
